brings a business owner's mentality to every project she manages. Clients at companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations rely on her to manage cross-functional teams and hit moving targets without missing a beat. She's a consummate communicator who has learned how to read minds, anticipate issues, and embrace an approach of "no fires" and "no surprises". Kathy received her undergraduate degree with honors and distinction from Stanford University, and an M.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley. In 1994, she left the prestigious Ph.D. program in clinical and research psychology at Berkeley to enter the then-burgeoning field of new media.
Prior to Little Red Truck Idea Co., Kathy founded her own agency. She also worked at Paramount Digital Entertainment and was a Creative Director for IBM’s Internet National Practice, where she built and led a team that developed web application interfaces for the banking and finance industry at the beginning of the Internet revolution. Clients included Nation’s Bank, Union Bank of California, and Deluxe Corporation, the largest check provider in the world for whom she and her team designed the first check ordering application on the web.
