How much does it cost to work with you?

Cost is a function of hours for us and hours are defined by the scope and scale of the engagement. You can engage us on a project basis or you may need our bundled, retainer services. Either way, we can assist you in determining the best course of action and associated budgets.

 

Based on the area or expertise, our hourly rates vary but for a broad number - our blended rate is $80/hr. We are problem-solvers and thus we try hard to work with various types of compensation terms.


 

What does the cost include?

Our time, our knowledge, our service, and our experience. Based on the need, we will provide you with hard costs such as hardware, hosting, off-the-shelf software, etc.


 

So and so charges less than you. Can you match them?

We are industry veterans that bring a lot of cost saving in terms of doing it right the first time. This does not mean that we are overpriced or expensive, but we do want to be compensated fairly for our time and effort. On large projects, we can spread the cost over several months. We are always open for discussion and ask the same of you.


 

How long will the project take to complete?

Every engagement will be preceded by a schedule of tasks and timeline. We work towards meeting every deadline, every time. However, there are things that will always remain out of our control. For example, we really wanted the iPad to have a USB port - alas, it is not to be...

What does the process involve?
    Depending on the project:

     

  1. We get a preliminary idea of what you are looking for
  2. We meet with you and some of your staff and go through Discovery
  3. We will then do some competitive and industry research
  4. We will get back to you with a plan and associated costs and a loose timeline
  5. On approval we will solidify the timeline and set deadlines
  6. At various review points during the project we will show you progress
  7. On delivery, we will recommend benchmarks to monitor results
  8. After reviewing and analyzing we may recommend, if possible, tweaks and adjustments
  9. Bottom line: we stick to what we said we’ll do, keep you in the loop, deliver on time and track results

 

I’ve never worked with a technology consultant before. Can you tell me what to expect?

Our team can be called in to figure out the root cause of an issue and asked to recommend or develop a technology solution. Our technology consultants also get called to assess a need or to review existing infrastructure - anything from applications to network stability to mobile strategies to social media tactics, etc. We develop custom solutions or we recommend and install off-the-shelf solutions. Either way, our focus is always to get the right technology for the right need.

 

Our team works with your teams to solve marketing business, IT and technology issues. Anything from a new website to a mobile commerce app to a company Intranet to setting up a customer WiFi network to daily management of your Facebook page to directory listings to migrating your company to Google Apps (cloud based e-mail, document, spreadsheets, voice, etc.) to Search Engine Marketing for your site or product/service - we have the expertise, experience and excogitation to help.


 

What exactly do I receive during the course of the project?
You can expect budgets and schedules to stay constant; keeping you apprised every step of the way; working diligently, intelligently and creatively; making sure that results are monitored or the application works as we promised; ensure good reporting.

Have Internet connection, will travel. With today’s technology nothing needs to stand in the way of our relationship building process. We regularly do work for clients that are outside our city or state - and have never had an issue that would effect communication or work. Plus, we like Skype...


 

Can you recommend any other technology consultant?
Yes we can. It is important to shop and be patient and smart with the decision you are making. We will be clear about our services and deliverables and leave the decision-making to you. If there isn‘t a fit at this time, we will guide you in the right direction. Even if helping means referring you to a competitor.
